Changes!

In the next few days, Romantic Marriage will have a new name. After surveying the readers, asking my friends, and listening to my own thoughts for a while, I've made the decision. And the winner is....

For Better - Or What?

The new link is http://www.forbetterorwhat.com. The link is already working, and at the moment will direct you right back to Romantic Marriage.

I will be renaming the Facebook page, the Twitter feed, the Pinterest account, and whatever else is linked to the blog. It may be confusing for a few days, and some people may need to re-subscribe at some point. I appreciate everyone's patience and support through the transition.

Should I Rename the Blog?

Couple views renamed blog on computer
Is "Romantic Marriage" really a good fit for what I'm doing here? Is the title just too sappy to be taken seriously?

Sure, I like to write about romance, date nights, and lighthearted fun. But I also talk about the serious issues that can destroy relationships, and how to avoid or resolve them. I want to help couples with ordinary marriages make them great, and couples with great marriages to keep them that way. One of my goals here is to promote marriage education based on solid research and practical advice.

What do you think? Should I change the name? And if I do, what would be a better fit? So far, all I've come up with is Two the Hard Way. It makes me smile, but it might not be quite the message I'm looking for.

Three Easy Ways to Keep Your Marriage Strong

We are always being told that marriage is hard work. Just like an old house that has been neglected and allowed to fall apart, a marriage that has been ignored will begin to crumble, and it will take a lot of time and effort to rebuild it.

But if we remember to keep up with the maintenance, our marriages, like our homes, will stay in good condition. When a problem comes along, it will be easier to handle, because the underlying structure is sound.

Here are three easy things you can do every day to keep your marriage strong. On average, following this program will add less than five minutes a day to your schedule, and the rewards will be enormous.
